Carla Howard is a Senior Partner at Chusid, Katz & Sposato, LLP. For over two decades, Ms. Howard has focused her practice on a variety of civil litigation matters including high exposure insurance defense and complex construction and commercial matters in state and federal courts in Florida. Throughout her practice, she has served as a Senior Trial Partner at several national law firms where her responsibilities extended beyond the courtroom in overseeing daily legal operations, including the direct supervision, mentorship, and professional growth of a team of attorneys and staff for optimal professional growth to deliver successful litigation outcomes. Ms. Howard also advocates for securing the rights and appropriate services of children with disabilities in the education system with a focus on elevating self-advocacy, inclusion, and equal opportunities. She enjoys traveling and devoting her time to her two children, hiking, sports, and many other outdoor activities.
Born in Harlan, Kentucky; admitted to the Florida Bar 2004; admitted to the United States District Court, Southern, Northern and Middle Districts of Florida.
